For the past two years, the southeastern African country of Mozambique has been enduring a severe drought, causing widespread shortages of food and water. For millions of people who rely on subsistence farming to survive, they are struggling to make it through each day. The situation has become so desperate that HIV-positive mothers continue to nurse their babies in an effort to keep them alive, despite risks of passing on the virus.
This is a hunger crisis. We cannot stand by and watch the crisis continue to worsen-- not when we can do something about it. Please join us as we campaign to bring food and water to a village in southern Mozambique. This will help thousands of families and save lives.
