Every September, people around the world join together in saying #IStandForGirls in order to spread awareness about the importance of girls' education, while raising funds to provide girls in Mozambique with the opportunity to attend school and have access to a life-changing education. Last year, our community rallied together to fund school sponsorships (which include school fees, uniforms, backpacks, school supplies, and transportation) for 200 girls in Mozambique!
This year, we’re focused on building and sustaining a Holistic Education for each of our 200 girls in Mozambique.
A Holistic Education provides access to: Core Schooling (school fees, uniform, school supplies, and transportation to and from school) and After-School Programming (workshops, tutoring, health education, and extracurricular activities). Your support goes a long way in helping these girls lay the groundwork for their future. Join the #IStandForGirls movement and make a difference!
Monthly Sponsorship is a monthly recurring commitment and requires a minimum of 12 months to cover one full school year and avoid disruption of classes. Please note that once we receive Core Schooling for all 205 children, we will allocate these funds to their After-School Programming.
Yearly Sponsorship is a yearly recurring commitment to ensure that the girl(s) you are sponsoring can remain in school up until high school graduation.
GIVE A ONE-TIME GIFT
Your one-time gift allows our organization to continue it's work in Mozambique. All one-time donations will be allocated to the "most needed fund" and will be used for our most pressing needs. Thank you!
Once you've joined our cause, share your message on social media!
1. Take a photo of yourself holding an "#IStandForGirls" printout (or you can create one yourself!).
3. Share in the caption why YOU stand for girls and why girls education & empowerment is important, and ask your network to join the movement at www.kurandza.org/istandforgirls.
