Directly sponsor a girl and empower her for life!

Your support gives a girl in Mozambique access to education and life-changing opportunities.

When you sponsor a girl, you change her life forever.

At just 14, many girls in remote areas of Mozambique are often forced to leave school to help their families, putting their education and dreams on hold.

But with your sponsorship, their opportunities multiply!

By investing in their education, you empower them to focus on long-term goals and equip them with the skills they need to break free from the cycle of poverty. Your connection inspires lasting change, impacting their life, their community, and future generations.

How Sponsorship Works:

step 01

Choose how many girls youโ€™ll sponsor

Your sponsorship provides school fees, a uniform, a backpack full of supplies, tutoring, mentorship, and safe transportation. After making a contribution and getting matched directly with a student, your donation ensures she has access to education, a backpack full of school supplies, and a uniform for the entire school year.

step 02

Choose the girl(s) youโ€™d like to directly sponsor

As a direct sponsor, you match directly with a child in Mozambique and become an integral part of their educational journey. If a particular studentโ€™s story inspires you, include their name when you donate, and weโ€™ll do our best to connect you if they have not already been sponsored.

Step 03

Build a connection with your girl(s)

When you sponsor a girl, you step into her world and become part of her journey โ€” keeping her in school, empowering her family, and uplifting her community.

As her sponsor, you have the option to share in personal exchanges through photos, handwritten letters, and video calls. Just imagine receiving her first letter filled with dreams and hopes for the future that you can help make possible! And if you choose, you can travel to Mozambique to meet her in person, visit her school, and witness firsthand the profound impact your support is making in her life.

Your consistent, positive presence will empower her for the rest of her life.

Step 4

See the impact multiply

Your sponsorship doesnโ€™t just keep a girl in school โ€” it transforms her future, uplifts her family, and inspires change across her community. Together, weโ€™re breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a brighter future for generations to come.

Right now, resilient children are looking for someone to sponsor their education so they can stay in school. As their sponsor, $50/month or $500/year ensures they receive a quality education through these life-changing programs.

make a one-time donation

Not ready to commit to a full sponsorship?

You can still make a huge difference with a one-time donation! Your generous one-time donation will go directly towards Kurandzaโ€™s greatest need, supporting our overall impact for the girls in our program. Every contribution counts, and we make sure your generosity has a positive impact on the local community.

A one-time donation of any amount supports Kurandza and changes girlsโ€™ lives.

How your donation makes a difference:

  • She will avoid becoming a child bride, turning to prostitution or being trafficked.

  • She will earn a higher income and invest it back into the wellbeing of her family.

  • She will send her own daughters to school, breaking the generational cycle of poverty.

  • She will drive economic development in her local area, uplifting her entire community.

With a quality education, starting in childhood, girls are empowered with the tools they need for the rest of her lives.
