Launch Team Toolkit: Your 4-Step Guide to Fundraise for Girls’ Education

You’re joining a global movement to send to raise direct sponsorships for 150 girls by September 30th, providing support to these girls for the next school year. Whether you’re hosting a fundraiser, sharing on socials, or emailing your community — every step you take helps change a life.

This guide is filled with tools and examples to help you make an impact. We’ll walk you through everything step by step — and to make it simple, we’re using Alex, one of our most passionate fundraisers, as your example!

Choose a girl you want to fundraise for

Every girl in our program has a dream — and you have the power to help her chase it. Just like Alex did last year, you can sponsor one student — or even two, like Ética and Pércia!

Start by visiting our Girls in Need of a Sponsorship page to learn more about the incredible students in our program. Once you’ve chosen the girl you’d like to support, email us at info@kurandza.org and let us know who you’re fundraising for. We’ll send you her photo, story, and everything you need to share her dreams with your community.

Create your fundraising page in just a few clicks

Once you've chosen your girl, it's time to create your custom fundraising page on Donorbox. Share why you stand for girls’ education, add your chosen student’s story, and you’re ready to fundraise!

Post on socials or host a fundraising event

Sharing on social media brings more people into the movement. Whether you want to simply educate your followers about the #IStandForGirls movement or host an event like a paint night, yoga class, bake sale or birthday fundraiser — every event makes an impact.
